CHP Consulting asked TheBigChoice.com to create a digital marketing solution that would enable the consultancy to build awareness of its employment opportunities and increase the quality of candidate applying to its Graduate Programme.

CHP Consulting is a medium-sized organisation with a small company culture combined with big company aspirations. It is the supplier of ALFA Systems, the leading software platform for top asset finance companies worldwide.

The consultancy offers a prestigious graduate scheme with a competitive salary and rigorous selection process.


CHP Consulting was looking to build awareness of its employment opportunities and increase the quality of candidate applying to its Graduate Programme. Therefore, the company set out to partner with a youth marketing specialist that had the expertise and resources available to engage with a wider and more targeted student and graduate audience.


TheBigChoice.com and CHP Consultancy started with the creation of a company profile on TheBigChoice.com website, its student and graduate careers portal. The profile would enable the company to engage with its target market on a much larger scale than it had been able to do previously. It was also another source for graduates to submit applications to the CHP Consulting Graduate Programme by linking to its own website.

The company also hosted video case studies on its profile to build engagement with graduates, as well as differentiate themselves from competitors.

As a result of the successful marketing activity so far, CHP Consulting chose to continue working with TheBigChoice.com to achieve its goals.

Further marketing activity carried out included:

  • Targeted Job Posting: supported by a series of emails driving graduates to the CHP Consulting Graduate Programme
  • Newsletter Marketing: distributed to 20,000 students and graduates with details of the CHP Graduate Program and an ‘apply now’ button
  • Graduate Careers Guide: enabling CHP Consulting to deliver bespoke content for it brand. The guide also allowed the consultancy to reach a new audience as it was also published through the app stores
  • Website Display Advertising: creating a button on TheBigChoice.com website to boost CHP Consulting’s digital marketing solution
  • School Liaison Service: engaging with lecturers, careers advisors, student society leaders and heads of faculties to build the company’s reputation as a top graduate employer


CHP Consultancy’s digital marketing campaign delivered:

  • Company profile: 1,029 graduates viewed the profile and 168 went on to click through to the CHP Consulting website
  • Job listing: 4519 graduates clicked through to the CHP Consulting recruitment page on its website
  • Emails and the newsletter: 1,146 graduates clicked on the job posting link that took them to its job listing on TheBigChoice.com
  • Display advertising: 3,858 graduates clicked on the button displayed on TheBigChoice.com which directed them to the CHP Consulting website
  • Graduate Careers Guide: read 1,524 times by graduates across the UK
