Bright Crop was looking to build upon its pre-existing careers information for teachers and career advisors to use in educating 16-18 year olds about the agricultural industry.
What the client thought:
"Developing the Careers in Agriculture education pack with TheBigChoice.com has been a real asset to Bright Crop. We particularly needed to develop a resource for teachers and the support offered by TheBigChoice.com both in terms of design and content was excellent. We chose to print the guide to distribute to teachers at events and have received very positive feedback from teachers we have engaged with."
- Lauren Weller, Network and Communications Coordinator at Bright Crop
Bright Crop is an initiative that inspires young people to explore a career in the faming and food supply industry.
Bright Crop was looking to build upon their pre-existing careers information for teachers and career advisors to use in educating 16-18 year olds about the agricultural industry. Therefore, the company looked to partner with a youth marketing company that had the industry expertise and distribution infrastructure to develop and deliver this resource.
TheBigChoice.com determined that using Bright Crop’s information to create a careers resource pack for the agriculture industry would raise awareness of careers in farming and food supply and particularly highlight the engineering opportunities within the sector.
Using TheBigChoice.com's promotional platforms, the careers resource pack would then be distributed to a targeted network of school leavers, teachers and careers advisors to ensure a high quantity of relevant traffic was generated.
The agriculture resource pack was distributed via email to TheBigChoice.com's database of 6,000 careers advisors and featured on the Careers Development Institute newsletter.
School Leavers were targeted directly through an email to the 85,000 students on TheBigChoice.com’s School Leaver’s database. Additionally, the Agriculture resource pack was added to TheBigChoice.com’s Careers Guidance Hub and promoted alongside resource packs for other industries.
Further coverage was provided through promotion on the companies social media platforms to a combined audience of 12,500 people and by creating a edition of the guide that Brightcrop could print and distribute during careers events.
