The School Leaver Guide provides young people across the country with core advice about starting a career and gives specific industry advice for those considering their future.
TheBigChoice.com is pleased to announce that its latest edition of the School Leavers Guide has been published on its youth careers portal. The release of the Autumn/Winter guide is part of the group’s continuing commitment to equip school leavers across the country with a wide range of invaluable careers advice, along with up to date and relevant employment opportunities.
In addition to the support already provided to the guide by National Careers Service and the National Apprenticeship Service, TheBigChoice.com has increased the amount of contributors, experts, companies and institutions it works with. These now include:
- EDF Energy
- RLB (Rider Levett Bucknall)
- Smith & Williamson
- Grant Thornton
- Pimlico Plumbers
- International Financial Data Services
- British Retail Consortium
- The Clothes Show
- University of Bedfordshire
Working with school and college distribution partners, TheBigChoice.com ensures that the guide is distributed to the right target readers through accepted and trusted channels, as well as to over 85,000 young people who have signed up to our school leaver subscriber list. The guide is available on Apple’s iTunes App Store and as an eMagazine.
The School Leaver Guide is also accompanied by a range of Careers Resource Packs produced in conjunction with top employers, and available for free to careers advisers and parents to give job guidance.
Lauren Weller is the Network and Communications Coordinator at Bright Crop, an initiative that encourages young people to consider a career in the farming and food supply industry. Speaking on Bright Crop’s involvement with the latest Agriculture Resource pack, Lauren commented:
“Developing the Careers in Agriculture education pack with TheBigChoice.com has been a real asset to Bright Crop. We particularly needed to develop a resource for teachers and the support offered by BigChoice Group both in terms of design and content was excellent. We chose to print the guide to distribute to teachers at events and have received very positive feedback from teachers we have engaged with.”
