BigChoice Group opens a new International Student Admissions Service (ISAS) centre in Ecuador.
BigChoice Group, the international education student marketing company, announces today that it has expanded its International Student Admissions Service (ISAS) and opened a new international admissions centre in Ecuador.
Establishing the new centre in addition to the existing UK centre allows ISAS to provide daily support to its 160 international university clients in more than 40 different countries due to the compatibility of time zones. The location of the new admissions centre also ensures ISAS can deliver guidance and advice to international students from across the globe 24 hours a day.
The innovative service was first launched in October 2014 as a direct response to meeting the needs and demands of institutions looking to increase and diversify their international student recruitment. This is through the provision of enquiry management software and admissions support to manage and convert student enquiries. The service also meets the needs of prospective international students by providing a ‘one-stop’ advice service that guides them from the initial research stage all the way through to the application.
The service is available entirely free of charge for students and parents to use plus there are no commission charges made to universities and colleges who end up recruiting students through the system.
The new international admissions centre will be spearheaded by Vice President of International Admissions for the Americas, Jihna Gavilanes.
Jihna has 16 years of experience in the international admissions and international student recruitment industry and has played an active role in facilitating intercultural and orientation programs to international students. She will be managing a team of skilled and multilingual international admissions advisors.

The main motivation of the new international admissions centre is to have a less than 24 hour response time as well as focusing on supporting students looking to study overseas with general information about the university, dates and deadlines for international applicants, admission procedures, and advice on available courses.”
