TheBigChoice.com is pleased to announce that it will be publishing more expert advice and real-life case studies on its website to coincide with National Careers Week and National Apprenticeship Week.
Once more, TheBigChoice.com will be dedicating content and advice in line with national awareness weeks this month. The exciting announcement comes after its launch of Choices Week 2016, which took place the first week of February.
Coming up in March:
National Careers Week
National Careers Week, happening 7th – 11th March 2016. According to the website, NationalCareers Week is “a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people leaving education.”
Despite young people being forced to make crucial career decisions earlier on in life, there is a distinct lack of resources for many of the available career paths. TheBigChoice.com is taking responsibility to tackle this issue by providing its subscribers with careers advice, guidance and opportunities at school leaver and graduate level.
Content will be published on the website’s blog and will include job sector profiles, case studies with young employees in different job roles, and advice articles on choosing your career paths. Employers can follow the activity on Facebook and Twitter via #NCW2016.
National Apprenticeship Week
National Apprenticeship Week, coordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, celebrates the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy. Last year, a record-breaking 23,000 apprenticeship vacancies were pledged throughout the week.
Taking place 14th – 18th March, TheBigChoice.com will be publishing daily content around apprenticeship options on the website’s News & Discussion section. Content will include case studies and expert advice articles.
The week will coincide with the launch of TheBigChoice.com’s 2016 School Leavers Guide. The Guide provides information on careers opportunities for school leavers, overviews of apprenticeships in different sectors (including banking, logistics, public service and engineering), apprentice case studies and opportunities from top employers such as the Royal Navy, Gist, HSBC and RLB.
Throughout National Apprenticeship Week, TheBigChoice.Com will also be publishing a series of careers resources packs for careers advisers and parents, produced in conjunction with top employers. Additionally the website will be promoting its existing resource packs, including the public sector (supported by the Civil Service), logistics (supported by Gist) and banking (supported by HSBC).
To keep up to date with the week, employers can follow activity on Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #NationalApprenticeshipWeek.
