Offering “real-world courses” that have been designed in partnership with relevant professional and industrial bodies, LSBU ensures that its students receive the necessary vocational skills to succeed once they graduate.

Objectives:

London South Bank was looking to promote their undergraduate Law courses to relevant students in London and South East England.

Seeking an experienced student recruitment company and a bespoke marketing strategy, London South Bank approached TheBigChoice.com to deliver a digital marketing campaign to meet their challenge.

Strategy:

In order to reach such a small, specific group of local young people, TheBigChoice.com determined that a targeted email marketing campaign would ensure that a high number of relevant students would be reached.

Emails were filtered according to subject(s) of interest and location, designed to establish and develop a relationship between London South Bank and prospective students.

Results:

TheBigChoice.com's activity engaged with a total of 2,084 local students over the course of 2 emails, with 185 prospects clicking through to the university’s website. Furthermore, the campaign established and developed a relationship with prospects. Throughout the campaign, click to open rates of emails increased by 2.8% as prospects showed increasing interest in studying at London South Bank.
